Last night, we met up with Don, Mary, and Braden to get a day pass for the trains for today. We ended up with 6 (including Lynda) single day train passes for 17 euros (approximately the same dollars) each. Quite the deal. We took the train and bus to Dachau and back, then a tram around town, then the train to Passau.
We did a self guided tour of Dachau. It was very well done and worth seeing. We spent several hours walking around the site.
After we got back from Dachau, we went to see the world famous Hofbrauhaus .
We sat at a table for a while then decided it was taking too long so we went back to the hotel to get out luggage and picked up those yummy Kebob sandwiches for everyone to eat on the train to Passau. We got on the 430pm train and arrived in Passau around 740pm. Passau is between the Inn and Danube Rivers.
We found our self checkin apartment after a little searching since the streets are not marked. The room is very nice.
