We slept in because we had a short day today. We had breakfast at 820am.
Then we went to check out the observation tower.
We headed out of town around 930. It was already 80 degrees, with no wind.
It rained on us for 30 minutes or so and the temperature dropped to about 72. We found a gas station to eat lunch. We pulled in as two cyclists from Lithuania were leaving. They were on their way to Riga, Latvia.

Once again, we are on a Camino route.
We are staying at a place called Anas Namas. I found it on booking.com for $77 per night (no breakfast).

We walked to dinner and met a very nice family across the road from our house. He rents out bicycles. So we asked to borrow a floor pump, and he checked a headset screw for us (he tightened mine). The wife is British so they and the 3 kids spoke English. She told us what to see in town and loaned us a book that we'll return in the morning. They also showed us an alternate route for us tomorrow that will add about 10 miles but will keep us off the highway. Neither of the bar / restaurants were open so we bought stuff for sandwiches from the grocery store.
We stopped in to see a photography exhibit about the Roma (aka Gypsy) people.
Oh yeah... we found out that Arnold made it home alright but his bike was stuck in Riga because it was too big. It sounds like he had to make arrangements to have it shipped to him another way.
