Our breakfast was delivered to our room at 8am.
For once, Weather Channel accurately predicted rain this morning until around 10am. So we were not in a big hurry to leave. It looked like it was clearing up at 9, so we hit the road. It was still cloudy and 62 degrees.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
It lightly rained on us for an hour or so as we left town.
We saw these carvings in a yard where a dump truck was parked at the road. The man came out to get in his truck. He was very friendly and told us that this was his house.  He made the carvings.
We moved on and came to a big downhill into a small town. There was construction going on at the bottom of the hill.  Once we got through that, we saw a building on the corner with a door open. It looked like it was open to the public so we went in... mostly looking for a bathroom. It was the visitor center for Panemuniai Regional Park. Lynn bought two tickets and we took a tour. The building was an old tavern. It had exhibits showing the wildlife and the old way of life along the Nemunas River.
The young lady that worked there gave us a personal tour. Then she went and picked apples for us while we looked around a bit. She recommended that we go see the castle and she gave a restaurant recommendation for tonight. Lynn showed her the wood carvings we just saw.
She knew the man and said he was really nice and, in fact was working at the construction site that we had come through. Then we went back up the hill, through the construction site again to go see the catle, Panamunas Pilas.
We went up 4 or 5 ladders to get to the top of the tower.
... then down.
We had about 10 miles left to go to our destination.
About 8 miles from Jurbarkas (our destination), we got onto a beautiful cyclepath following the Nemunas River.
We got to Editos Apartments at about 4pm. This place was $74 (no breakfast).
The recommended restaurant was literally across the road from our apartment. I had a Chicken steak with cheese sauce, couscous,  broccoli,  carrots for $10.
Apple pie with ice cream for $4.
.. and Lynn and I shared a pitcher of  homemade lemonade for $3.

Then we walked around town to see the Jewish Synagogue Memorial.
We went to the catholic church, but not inside as there was a service going on.
A few other pictures in town...
Tomorrow will be our last full day in Lithuania.
