We left around 730am without breakfast. The B&B offered the usual breakfast for 23 euros. We decided the price was too much so we grabbed a danish at the K Market where Lynn talked again to someone at Posti to try (unsuccessfully) to get her package that is stuck in Finland customs.
The weather was cloudy and 60 ish degrees. Very nice for a ride.
They do like pizza.
We were on bicycle paths all day today and could tell that we were getting close to the big city. There were lots of pedestrians, cyclists and cars.
We stopped at McDonald's for an ice cream treat.
We got to our Eurohostel lodge for tonight and tomorrow at around 1pm. Of all the places we've stayed, this one might have to go to the bottom of the list. It's not bad, just not as nice as we've been used to. It is $180 for 2 nights... no breakfast. It is very close to the ferry, which is important. Most other places to stay in this area were over $200 per night.
This is as far as we go in Finland. Tomorrow, we spend a day exploring Helsinki, then on to the next country!
