Tallinn Estonia

Our first Estonian breakfast was pretty much the same as Norway and Finland. 

We hopped on a public bus to go to the TV Tower. Google directions tell you where to go to the bus stop and which bus to get on.  If you leave the navigator running while on the bus,  it will tell you when to get off.  The bus has a kiosk that takes googke and apple pay (or your bus pass). So we just bought a $1 ticket to ride the bus each time we got on.  Easy, convenient, and clean.

The TV Tower was built for the 1980 Moscow Olympics and was used to defend Estonia from the Soviets in 1991.

Next, we went to the Singing Festival Grounds which was built to honor The Singing Revolution and The Baltic Way.

On our way to dinner, we met a family getting ready for their bicycle vacation.  They had driven her from Lithuania and were getting ready to board the ferry to Helsinki.  They were going to bike and camp on the islands around Helsinki.  I gave a St Christopher pocket token to the mom. There were mom, dad, 3 kids,  grandma and lots of gear!

We went to Restaran Argentina.  I had a goat cheese salad and grilled vegetables for $24. It was very good!

Tomorrow we ride in Estonia!
