Breakfast was at 8. We had the usual porridge and sandwiches. There was also some bacon.

The weather was much better than yesterday.  It was 54 to 60 degrees, partly sunny, and the wind was light in the morning but was probably a 15 to 20 mph headwind by the afternoon. We did get sprinkled on towards the end of the ride,  but it looks like we missed the heavy rain.

We started out by taking a dirt road for about 6 miles.  It was pretty,  but it was more of a challenge as there was some fresh gravel in a few places. 

Back to pavement... 

We took a lunch break at a beach area of a lake. 

I've noticed three are more fields in this area.  It looks like mostly natural grass, but some are definitely planted.i also saw several dairy farms. 

We got into Kiuruvesi around 315pm.

We are staying at Pelotovi Hotel. It's a little more expensive at $160 (breakfast included). 

We waited at least an hour for our dinner from the hotel restaurant, but it was very good.... Portobello mushrooms with tampenade and vegetables.
