We ate yogurt for breakfast and left by 830am.
We noticed Jasna Gora was very near our route and thought it was where the pilgrimage was going. So we hastily decided to add that as a stop today. It was a pretty ride (straight up a hill), but it was not the church where the pilgrimage was going. I had forgotten that we had already decided the church was not near our route.
Then we decided to take the shortcut through the woods to save about 10 miles.
We went back into Poland and back into Czech Republic without noticing. I think we re-entered Czech Republic on the dirt road.
We were on some pretty small roads today and once in a while were hit with a spectacular view. One such view was the Mlýn Heinricha Schwarze (historical mill) in Zahradky. The road was narrow and busy and steep so there was no way to get a picture.
Here were some guys working on the roof.
We found ourselves at the top of a ridge and wondered why in the world would there be a paved road up here. It soon deteriorated.

We saw fish in the lake.
The lodge has a restaurant. I got a strawberry soda, penne with chicken and cheese, and ice cream with fruit for $15.10.
Today was only 46 miles but there were a lot of hills thankfully the weather was great. It started in the 60s and got up to 85, but the breeze was cool. More hills tomorrow!
