Ocean Shores to Elma Washington

We left the Swindler's triangle house (built by his relatives in 1974) around 8am. 

The highway out of Ocean Shores was busy but we soon got onto the very scenic and quiet Burrows road.

We rode briefly on a busy State Route 109, crossing the Hunptulips River,

then off to the quieter Ocean Beach Road into Hoquiam. We crossed the Chehalis River at Aberdeen. 

We ate at Mazatlan Mexican restaurant in Aberdeen that Lynn knew about from one of her previous trips. It was very good. We picked up a nice trail for a few miles then went through Cosmopololis and Montesano. 

The weather today was great. It was partly cloudy and around 60 degrees with a slight southwest (tailwind) all day. It did start raining lightly while we were waiting for a train in the town of Satsop. We got to the Stay Beyond Inn in Elma at 3pm.
