Top of the World Cody Wyoming to Red Lodge Montana
We started at 8am when it was only 51 degrees. Top of the World is at 9,400 feet. We started climbing right away and quickly warmed up.
The road above...
We quickly found snow.
I expected it would take 2 hours to get to the top... I got there in an hour 45 minutes. It was almost 10 miles. Here's a look at the road we came up. At the top, we walked to an overlook.

and lunch (the temperature said 70 but the wind was cold)... Sandra got a picture of a marmot (I saw several)...
Now for the decent... Here is an interesting speed chart with elevation... We arrived into Red Lodge around 2pm. We could see evidence of damage from the flood of June 2022.
