Is it time to get up already? No, it's 2am. Is that your alarm? No, it's the hotel alarm. Do we need to evacuate? Well, other people are in the hallway, so I guess so. I decided to pee, grab my billfold, phone, eyeglasses, and shoes first. I wish I had grabbed a long sleeved shirt
The mosquitoes were having a 2am feast! I had been ushered out to the back, so I decided to walk around to the front where Lynn was. The firemen were leaving so I went on inside.
Apparently, all is well. Probably some knucklehead was smoking in the room. Who knows. Back to bed and up at 7 for breakfast.
We left around 845am. It was cloudy, 48 degrees, slight headwind, and no rain. I think the warmest it got was around 62. The wind increased as the day went on.it was probably around 12 mph at most. We did see a few other cyclists on the road. We talked to 2 who were heading to Nordkapp (one from Germany and one from France).
We got to the border of Norway and Finland around 1pm which became 2pm since we also crossed a timezone. I am now 8 hours ahead of US Central Time Zone.
This was the view from the back porch.
More sights along the way... (one a little disturbing).
We got Hetta (or Enontekio) around 4pm.
