The super nice lady that owns the lodge we stayed at last night, fixed us a fabulous breakfast (she also did the wonderful meal last night) including bread and stuff for sandwiches.  

The room, dinners, breakfasts, and sandwiches for lunch totalled around $160 for both of us ($80 each). 

We swatted mosquitoes that got into the room last night. There was a screen for one window.  So we used it and left a window open for sleeping. I slept well because the remaining live mosquitoes pestered Lynn all night. As soon as we stepped outside,  we were swarmed with mosquitoes. 

Here's a beautiful corner cupboard in the bathroom. 

The forecast said 35% chance of rain until noon.  Back home that usually means no rain at all. We left around 845am with a rain coat on as it was already drizzling and the temperature was 47 degrees. 

At the first WC, a few miles out of town,  I put on my rain shoe covers, which is not easy while trying to keep the mosquitoes from eating your face!

We did longer miles with a little less climbing today, and it seemed much easier because there was not so much headwind, in fact there was a bit of tailwind most of the time. We rode in the drizzle and 47 degrees for about 2 hours. Once the sun came out,  it warmed up to around 60 very quickly and the raincoat and shoe covers came off.
