Breakfast at the Arctic Guesthouse house was porridge and sandwiches. This seems to be the typical free breakfast. We made a sandwich to go.

The weather for the day was cloudy, 55 to 64 degrees and about 10 mph headwind most of the day.  It looked like it would rain on us all day. We rode on really wet roads, barely wet roads, and completely dry roads all day. We seemed to be out of the threat of getting rained on,  so we took a lunch break at 1130am.  The at 1230pm,  just about 10 miles from town... it rained on us. It was about 55 degrees, so we put on rain coats. It rained on us for 5 minutes. But the coats still felt good since we were a bit cold.

We found another logging truck crane.

And, typical reindeer behavior...

Surprisingly, we have seen no reindeer road kill.

While eating lunch we heard a cuckoo bird in the forest. For real. I looked it up on YouTube. . This is the second time I've heard one.  I haven't seen it,  though. 

We arrived at Wanha Kunnantalo at about 1pm. We were greeted by Ulla and her husband.  They own the house which use to be a City Hall and Bank. They live in the bank half and rent out the city hall half. It is $115 per night.  They will bring us breakfast in the morning which will be about $18 each.

We walked to a pizza place for dinner.  We wanted to share a pizza with different toppings on each half.  The guy who took our order was very nice and was surprised that we were from the US. He brought us each a whole pizza and said "surprise". We really didn't want that much pizza, but it was very nice of him. 

Apparently the sun will set tonight... though I don't plan to witness it.
