We had breakfast at 830 (after a good night's sleep in an air conditioned room).
I bought a group ticket for public transportation for the day (using the MVV app on the phone). We caught the bus to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. We spent several hours there. I had visited here on May 4 and posted other pictures and comments (click here). Here are today's pictures.
I was really interested in seeing the maps since we had ridden our bikes through a lot of this area. For example, there was a camp in Riga Lithuania that I'd never heard about.
Then we took a bus and a train to get into Munich. It was pretty easy using Google maps. It navigates you to the bus, then to walk to the train. It tells you all the stops and shows where you are on the route. It notifies you when to get off (if you pay attention).
The goal was to find the Peace Angel.
Then, I found Shirker's Lane on Viscardigasse Street (remembered it from my previous trip).
We found a place to eat, then took a tram, train, and bus back to the hotel.
