Breakfast at 7, and on bikes by 8am... in the light rain and 57 degrees.

The roads were a little wet, but it quit raining by 9... as the weather app predicted. Our route took us by Lake Constance again.

There had been a sand sculpture festival  recently and the sculptures were still there.  I don't know how they survived all the rain yesterday. We could only see them from a distance and they were very cool looking. 

The ride along the lake was beautiful. 

Then we headed inland.

We met Simone in Alta Norway, before we ever started our ride. She was doing the Nordkapp to Tarifa race. She was going to Bregenz Austria as a solo rider. We have kept in touch since the start of the ride.  We watched her progress on the race tracking website. Anyway, we connected her when e got to Bregenz and found out that she lives in Weinfelden Switzerland which happens to be on our route today! She invited us to stop by her house for coffee.  It was so fun to see her and to talk about our trips! I how to keep in touch and possibly meet up again someday. 

We followed her to the bike pump... which had disappeared during her trip.  Oh well. So we rode back to her house and said goodbye... until we met again! 

We all agreed that finding your way through a city is hard work.

I wa amazed at the number of kids on bikes and scooters in the city. 

This is a road that dies not allow cars or motorcycles.

We got to our hotel around 6pm. This was $635 for two nights n breakfast included. 

We walked to dinner. I had the recommended veal with mushrooms and hashbrowns.  It was $37 and only ok.
